Includes the Heptameron, a grimoire devoted to magical rites for conjuring angels for each of the seven days of the week, and Arbatel of Magic, two of the best-known books of medieval magic. Includes diagrams of circles, magical sigils and conjurations. Written by Peter de Abano, an Italian philosopher, astrologer, and professor of medicine who died in prison in 1316 while awaiting trial by the Inquisition.
