London: Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co., Ltd., 1890. xii, 401 pp. Fold-out facsimile of a registration ticket for a common prostitute in Bombay. (8vo), dark green cloth stamped in gilt. Front hinge tender. Ex-library with the markings of the Reference Department of the Fraser Institute in Montreal stamped sporadically throughout. Overall very good.

Study of prostitution and related vice in Victorian England. Written by Benjamin Scott, Chamberlain of the City of London from 1858-1892 (his death.) Scott was a social reformer noted for his work with Josephine Butler, and temperance advocate. Dude did NOT like to party.
