Pyewacket Books is based in Oakland, CA and offers weird, rare, and important texts on a variety of themes - ranging from astrology to bondage, fine bindings to zines - with the hope of adding exciting material to existing collections as well as encouraging new collectors in new areas. It was started in 2018 with the premise that anyone can collect books; anyone can steward history. Pyewacket Books aims to be a resource for making book collecting more accessible, equitable, and a fuckton less stodgy.
